Having first aid provision in the workplace is a legal requirement with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 requiring “employers to provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and people so employees can be given immediate help if they are injured or taken ill at work.”
Fleet Training Services, a service unit of Poole Borough Council, ensures the Council meets its legal duty to ensure businesses comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and related legislation including First Aid Training.
Skills & Learning and Fleet Services have joined forces to provide accredited First Aid training with the development of this partnership enabling Skills & Learning to provide employers and individuals, who require this training, opportunities to cost effective and accredited training delivered by Fleet’s team of AoFAQ qualified trainers – who have previously worked within the front-line emergency services.
