We are the largest provider of Job Clubs in Dorset, we can provide CV guidance, assistance with searching and applying for jobs and preparation advice for interviews. Please see below for information on our Job Clubs.

Job Searching & Employability:

You  do not need to enrol, as these are drop in clubs which will support your job search activities & help you to develop your computer skills.

Boost Your Confidence

This inspiring and stimulating course is designed to introduce you to some easily applied, practical techniques that will help you gain greater self-awareness, feel more confident, more assertive and better able to relate to others.

You will:

  • Explore what confidence is and where it comes from and examine how to strengthen motivation
  • Start to learn how to think like a confident person and how to overcome negative feelings
  • Explore physical self-image and how to improve it
  • You will learn some basic conversational tactics, how to recognise and develop emotional intelligence and its impact on confidence, happiness and peace of mind

This course will encourage you to increase your confidence and ability to make informed choices about personal and professional issues, helping to reduce social exclusion and isolation.

Communication Skills

A relaxed and welcoming course that will focus on supporting you to improve the way you communicate with others. 

This course will include:

  • Exploring different forms of communication
  • How to listen to others effectively
  • Framing spoken communication information clearly and positively
  • How to present yourself in a positive light
