Welcome to Skills & Learning Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole

Now is the perfect time to learn something new. Our staff aim to give you the best possible learning experience when you take up a course with Skills & Learning. We are supporting thousands of learners each year to improve their skills, employment prospects and wellbeing.

We are a customer focused organisation and are working with local communities, partner organisations and employers to provide opportunities to change people’s lives for the better through learning.

We look forward to welcoming you and wish you every success in learning with us. If you are unsure about the course you would like to join, you can make an appointment to talk to our Learning Adviser by ringing 01202 262300 | 01305 819059 or visit our contact us page.

We have courses for those who want to feel more comfortable in the digital world and those who are looking to improve their skills for work. You could give your employment prospects a boost by attending one of our many FREE Job Clubs. Our dedicated tutors can share their years of expertise and experience with you, inspiring you to take your skills to the next level.

Why not learn a language for your summer holiday, rejuvenate your home with an Interior Design course or progress your career with a qualification course? We have a variety of free Functional Skills courses in English, maths and Computing that you can take advantage of to gain a qualification. We also offer GCSE courses in Biology, English and maths.

If you are thinking about applying for a job or would like to progress within your career, our accredited courses present an ideal opportunity for you to develop your skills, improve your employment prospects and gain valuable qualifications.

Joining in with others on our courses provides valuable support, and aids both your personal and professional development. Learning new skills and developing hobbies can be fun and gives you confidence if you want to find a job or progress in your career. You can use your new found skills to give to others, share your knowledge, help others or volunteer your time.
For those who would like to learn for personal interest, our Learning for Leisure, Health & Wellbeing courses will enable you to embark on an engaging journey of exploration into new experiences, personal development and improved health and wellbeing. Some of our learners choose to begin with a recreational course before finding a new passion and progressing to a full qualification.
