This is a good starting point if you want to develop skills for job roles helping adults and for those taking their first steps in developing counselling skills. Counselling Level 2

Counselling Skills – CPCAB Level 2 Certificate 

The Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills forms the foundation of professional counselling practice as well as providing the essential listening and communication skills used by helping professionals in a variety of roles within health and social care. This is your first step on your journey to becoming a counsellor. 

You will need to read the relevant course information sheet here. You will then need to read the application pack here before following the application process below.

Counselling Level 3

Counselling Studies– CPCAB Level 3 Certificate 

The Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies introduces you to the three main theoretical approaches to counselling and shows you what you can expect from working with counselling agencies.

Therapeutic Counselling Level 4

This qualification gives learners the knowledge, skills and competencies to work as a therapeutic counsellor in an agency context.
