To extend the reach of our provision we work with a range of carefully selected partners to deliver training and support for local people.

AIMCommunity

AIM ARTS ACADEMY is in its third year supporting young people 16-19 who are not in full time education or employment in a relaxed and creative environment.  We are a small provider and particularly skilled at working with young people who are less likely to engage with colleges or sixth forms.
Our 4 day a week study programme allows learners the opportunity to work towards a Rockschool (RSL) Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Extended Certificate in one of three pathways:

  • Performing & Creating Pathway
  • Performing Arts Business and Production
  • Creative Arts & Music Technology

We also have a Digital Media study programme new for 2018/19
All of our programmes are designed with the addition of supportive weekly mentoring for each learner to give them the added life support they need as they work towards their career focused qualifications.
As part of AIM ARTS ACADEMY, learners also are able to benefit from work experience and progression to apprenticeships at one of the many creative arts businesses/venues we have partnered with.
Maths and English GCSEs and Functional Skills are included in the study programme for those who haven’t already achieved GCSE Grade C/4 or above.
