Assessor Qualifications (Level 3)
Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment City & Guilds Level 3 Award
A knowledge only award for those who are starting their journey as an assessor, you will use an e-learning package and complete assessment activity electronically. There will also be an opportunity to attend workshops and meet one to one with your assessor in order to complete the qualification. Read the course information sheet here.
Assessing Vocational Achievement City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate
This qualification forms part of the TAQA (Training, Assessment, Quality Assurance) suite of qualifications. It is suitable for people working in, or looking to enter roles in assessment and replaces the Assessor and Verifier (A&V) Units. The qualification provides people who carry out assessment in their organisation with the opportunity to develop and improve their practice as well as achieving a professional qualification for the role. They are available to anyone working in accredited learning or non accredited learning (where people may assess performance but do not assess for a qualification). Quality Assurance Qualifications (Level 4)
Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance Processes and Practices Level 4 Award
A knowledge-only Award for those who are starting their journey as an internal quality assurance practitioners or for those who need to know about internal quality assurance but who are not carrying out quality assurance themselves. This might be people such as experienced assessors or centre managers, HR or quality assurance personnel. Read the course information sheet here.
Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice Level 4 Award
For practitioners who conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre or organisation, by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors. Read the course information sheet here.
